Established in 2005, THE-ICE (The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education) International Panels of Experts’ Forum (IPoE) focuses on the strategic issues facing tourism, hospitality, events and culinary arts education. The forum provides an outstanding opportunity for global industry leaders and academic experts to meet, present their views and develop collaborative strategies. In 2013 the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) will host this event at its Sydney campus.
国际旅游和酒店教育卓越中心（THE-ICE，The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education）国际专家小组论坛（IPoE，International Panels of Experts）成立于2005年，重点集中在旅游、酒店、会展和西餐西点教育所面临的战略问题。论坛为全球行业领导和学术专家提供了相聚、表达观点和制定合作战略的绝佳机会。2013年，蓝山国际酒店管理学院(BMIHMS)将会在悉尼校区举办这次活动。

The theme of the 2013 forum is ‘Industry Teaching Educators: A Global Perspective’. It’s particularly fitting that BMIHMS, who was ranked the Number 1 International Hotel Management School in Asia Pacific and Australia (TNS 2010), and whose education model is developed through industry partnerships has been chosen as the host institution for this forum.
2013年论坛的主题是《行业教学教育家：全球视角》（Industry Teaching Educators: A Global Perspective）。蓝山是亚太地区和澳大利亚排名第一的国际酒店管理学院（2010年TNS特恩斯市场研究报告显示），它通过行业联系建立教育模式，因此蓝山被选为这次论坛的举办机构，而且蓝山非常适合举办这次论坛。

The forum is themed to create an opportunity to ensure educators meet industry needs. With specific topics such as ‘What the industry really needs from Travel and Hospitality Education?’, ‘Educating and Engaging the Connected Generation’ and ‘Global Industry Demands Requiring Different Educational Approach’ this forum will provide the perfect platform for industry to work closely with educators and prepare the graduates they require in the future.
论坛的目的是为教育家满足行业需求创造机会。一些具体的议题如“行业从旅游和酒店教育中真正需要什么？”“教育和关联相互联系的一代”“满足全球行业需求需要不同的教育方法”，这次的论坛将为行业与教育家密切合作、为毕业生的未来做准备提供绝佳的平台。
