天啊！时间过得真快！我真不敢相信我已经是三年级的学生了！这意味着拿到学位的工作已经完成五分之四，我还有一个学期就毕业了！我的第二次行业实习也正式完成。在曼谷香格里拉酒店（Shangri-La Hotel）的实习颇具挑战性。我很高兴能在酒店工作，在那里工作的5个月期间，我感觉自己好像没工作多久就要离开。我喜欢每天工作的规律性，这份工作特别适合我。
花时间认真选择最适合自己的实习时非常明智的。在过去的5个月中，我从一个优质酒店获得了丰富的知识，与一个优秀团队创造了难忘的经历。
我的下一个目标是将我在第二次实习中所学到的一切带回学校。在人力资源部工作，我主要学习如何与人打交道。我每天都提醒自己不同文化间交流的重要性。当我在与人打交道，甚至是与朋友相处时，这都对我的个性产生了积极的影响。
在香格里拉酒店人力资源部工作的机会使我更加机智、更加灵活正确地处理冲突管理问题。他们还教会我如何用最简单的方法处理所有重大问题。
我很荣幸有机会向经验如此丰富的同事学习，他们非常耐心地教会了我“与人打交道”的技巧。
如今，我正准备返回澳大利亚，成为蓝山悉尼校区的一员。开始新的体验我有点紧张。不会再住在学校，朋友不会再时时刻刻围绕在自己身边，自己做饭……谁知道我将会做什么呢！然而，面临新的挑战，我很兴奋。
我认为能够克服新体验（每6个月一次）带来的所有挑战对于成功获得学位是非常必要的！

4/5 done with my Bachelors!
WOW! Time flies! Icannot believe that I am now a Year 3 student! This means that I am 4/5 donewith my degree and I only have one semester left!My second industry placementis officially completed.Reaching the end of my internship at the Shangri-LaHotel, Bangkokwas challenging.
I was very happyworking at Hotel and during the 5 month period I feel like I have only justfound my feet only to leave. I enjoyed the routine of the day and the job inparticular suited me.
Taking time tostrategically choose what sort of placement would suit me was smart. Over thepass 5 months, I gained a huge amount of knowledge from a great hotel thatincluded many memorable experiences with a great team of people.
My next goal is totake everything I have learned from my second industry placement back with meto university. Having worked in the Human Resources department I was mainlylearning about people. I have been having daily reminders of the importance ofintercultural communication skills. I believe that this is also having a realpositive impact on my personality when dealing with people and even my ownfriends.
The opportunity towork in the Human Resources Department of the Shangri-La Hotel has taught me tobe a smarter and to project a better response in conflict management issues.They have taught me how to deal with all big issues in the simplest possible way.
It was an honourfor me to have had the opportunity to learn from such experienced people whohave patiently taught me the tactics of ‘dealing with people.’
I am now preparingto return to Australia,where I will become part of the Sydneycampus. I am nervous to start this new experience. No longer living on campusand not being around friends all the time, cooking for myself, etc . . . Whoknows what I will do! However, I am excited to face these new challenges.
I believe thatbeing able to face the challenges head on that new experiences bring (every sixmonths) is essential to making it through this degree!
