对于蓝山国际酒店管理学院而言，非常遗憾的是，学校的伊朗籍学生少之又少。
由于一些伊朗学生面临签证问题，蓝山感到非常幸运能有这样一位就读硕士学位项目的伊朗学生顺利入学。
Fatemeh刚开始蓝山悉尼校区国际酒店管理硕士学位第三学期的课程。她证明自己的确是一位积极奉献充满热情的酒店人，她渴望通过酒店行业企业管理层面的培训获得成功。
她至于蓝山的特别之处是她是蓝山仅有的伊朗籍学生。
具体来说，对于伊朗学生而言，获得海外留学签证是极其困难的。据Fatemeh所言，伊朗仅在过去2个月就拒绝了500多个学生签证申请。再者，伊朗并不提供任何酒店管理学位课程。这更显示出伊朗学生追寻酒店行业职业生涯的困难性。Fatemeh走到如今展示出了极大的决心。
Fatemeh两年前到了澳大利亚，早于这次的伊朗拒签风波，那时她开始在西悉尼大学（UWS）学习酒店硕士课程。然而，在得知蓝山的名气后，她就转学到了蓝山的硕士项目，以便更好地在实践层面了解酒店行业。刚刚进入课程学习的Fatemeh很快就融入其中。仅仅正式着装的政策就让Fatemeh意识到了专业性和管理的重要性。
Fatemeh获得了英语口译和笔译学士学位，所以这更有利于未来她在酒店行业的全球职业生涯。
于她而言，蓝山就像一个大家庭一样，为学生创造有利于学习品质的轻松氛围。有她加入蓝山我们感到非常幸运，我们也希望不久后她不再是蓝山唯一一个伊朗籍学生。

Unfortunately for the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, we have very few Iranian students.
With visa issues facing potential students we find ourselves very lucky to have one such student undertaking our postgraduate program.
Fatemeh has just started the 3rd term of her Master’s degree in International Hotel Management at BMIHMS’s Sydney campus. She has proven herself to be a dedicated and passion student hotelier keen to succeed through the business and management side of the hospitality industry.
What makes her unique to BMIHMS is that she is our only Iranian student.
Circumstantially, it is extremely hard for Iranian students to attain visas to study overseas. According to Fatemeh, Iran has rejected over 500 student visa applications just in the past 2 months. Additionally Iran does not offer any degrees in Hotel Management. Further demonstrating the difficulty for Iranian’s wishing to pursue this industry. Fatemeh has shown great determination to be where she is today.
Fatemeh moved to Australia two years ago, before this wave of visa rejections and she started her post-graduate studies at UWS in hospitality. After hearing of BMIHMS’ reputation, she then transferred her course to our Masters program to gain a better practical understanding of the industry. For Fatemeh just seeing BMIHMS students she developed an instant rapport with the course. The grooming policy alone demonstrated to her the importance of professionalism and management.
Fatemeh earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Interpretation and Translation, so that she will be better prepared for a global career in hospitality. Her dream has always been to work for the Hilton and she aspires to work in events management and business development for this company.
To her, BMIHMS is like a family that creates a relaxed atmosphere conducive to quality learning. We are lucky to have her here with us and hopefully she won’t be our only Iranian student for much longer!
