       Eric Yang来自美国加州洛杉矶。他是蓝山悉尼校区一年级硕士生。

       我叫Eric，27岁，获得社区与地区发展学士学位。

       当我决定进行酒店教育时，我首先想到的是美国的酒店学校。然而，我了解到的那些学校都缺乏国际视角。我想要获得能够在世界各地工作所需要的技能和机会。在查询了瑞士、欧洲和亚洲的酒店学校后，我无意中发现了澳大利亚悉尼蓝山国际酒店管理学院。学校很棒，它的课程正是我所寻找的酒店学位课程。

       蓝山在课程中应用了三大支柱的教学方法，分别是：个人发展、学术成就和实践经验。这三大支柱正是我想要进入蓝山学习的重要原因。美国的酒店课程通常都只注重学术。我想要拓展自己的学习经历，同时也能以国际水平工作，我相信蓝山会帮助我做到这一点。

       我承认瑞士酒店教育模式和国家级/州级认证非常吸引人。但是，最重要的是我在悉尼打工度假一年后，我意识到悉尼是一个学习的好地方。还有比世界上最受欢迎的旅游胜地之一更好的地方吗？

       来到悉尼我兴奋不已，我期待作为学校的第一个营销大使在悉尼校区服务！

Introducing our New Marketing Ambassador

May 8th, 2013

Eric Yang joins us from Los Angeles, California. He is  a first-term master student at Blue Mountains International Hotel Management  School in Sydney, Australia.    Welcome from the BM Marketing team!

My name is Eric and I’m 27 yearsold. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Regional Development.

When I decided to pursue ahospitality education, my first thought was to look at schools in the UnitedStates. What I have noticed about these schools is that they lack aninternational perspective. I wanted to have the skills and opportunities towork anywhere in the world. After searching through schools in Switzerland,Europe, and Asia I came across Blue Mountains International HotelManagement School in Sydney, Australia. The school looked perfect and exactlywhat I was looking for in a hospitality degree program.

BMIHMS uses a 3 pillarapproach in their curriculum which encompasses personal development,academic achievment, and practical experience. These pillars are preciselythe reason I wanted to attend Blue Mountains Hotel School. Hospitality programsin the United States often only focus on the academics. I want to broaden mylearning experiences and be able to work on an international level, and Ibelieve Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School will do just that.

I admit the Swiss model ofeducation and the national/ state accreditations were appealing. However mostof all I knew having spent a year in Sydney on working holiday, that this wouldbe an amazing place to study and learn. What better place than one of the mostpopular tourist destinations in the world?

I’m very excited to be here inSydney and looking forward to serving the Sydney campus as their firstmarketing ambassador!
