例如,澳大利亚人有些单词拼写的不一样,如颜色colour(美国人拼写的是color)或道歉apologise(美国人拼写的是apologize),而且澳大利亚车辆行驶方向和美国人也不一样。

Meet Maxwell, BMIHMS Undergraduate Transfer Student
April 10th, 2014
Hello, my name is Maxwell Herbert and I am anInternational Event Management student at theBlue Mountains International Hotel Management School. I am a transfer student originally from Kendall College in the United States. I have always had a passion for traveling and that passion is the reason why I chose hospitality and Kendall College.
This is my very first time in Australia and it has been an amazing experience thus far. I honestly didn’t think Australia was going to be that different from the United States, but I was wrong. Most of the differences are small. For example, Australians spell some words differently like colour or apologise and also how Australians drive on the opposite side of the road.
From the first day of my first term starting in January of 2014 I have jumped head first into the school. That has allowed me to meet amazing people, grow professionally in the industry through volunteer and academic experiences, and also to be the very first transfer student elected as the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC).
Unfortunately, I only have a limited time here at the Leura Campus in the Blue Mountains. In July I will have successfully completed two academic terms and I will then continue on to a six month industry placement involving Event Management. After my industry placement ends in December, I will be returning to Kendall College to finish my last year of school. After graduation I plan to become a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) and also earn a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP).
