Bernardo来自葡萄牙首都里斯本（Lisbon），是蓝山硕士生，近期当选悉尼校园学生代表委员会（Student Representative Council，SRC）主席。
Bernardo非常想探索世界各国的不同文化以及各类酒店，以此来拓展自己的视野，提升自己的技能，他希望将来能够在一个滑雪胜地开设和运营自己的五星级酒店。
获得酒店管理学士学位后，Bernardo来到了悉尼，攻读蓝山硕士学位课程。进入课程后，他就担任了SRC社交主管，也因此做好了迎接领导悉尼校区SRC挑战的准备。每年4个学期的课程，分成12周的模块，Bernardo深知在如此有限的时间里获得成功极具挑战性。但是他壮志雄心，斗志昂扬。
“新的SRC已经为下学期制定出了非常棒的计划。我们的团队是由来自世界各地的学生成员组成，我们决心成为悉尼校区有史以来最棒的SRC。”
“我们想要确保在悉尼校区学习的每一个学生都能享受生活，在这里创造永远铭记于心的美妙回忆。我们的目标是接触每一个学生，使他们参与到我们组织的活动、聚会、午餐会和会议中来。为了达成这一目标，我们将会通过在社交网站Facebook和Twitter上更新信息，并创建一个新的SRC页面来提升自身的交际能力。我们也有为参加我们活动的学生举办‘奖励活动’的计划。我们将特别关注不同国籍的学生，使他们融入到学校的社会活动中。”
本学期SRC也将注重创办更多的社会活动，使学生更好地融入课程学习中，也会举办文化午餐使其变得更加吸引人和生动有趣。

Bernardo- a Master’s student from Lisbon, Portugal- was recently elected the new Student Representative Council (SRC) President for the Sydney campus.
Bernardo ambitiously wants to explore the world, its different cultures, and the vast range of hotels to widen his experiences and build his skills in the hopes of opening and running his own 5-star hotel one day in a snow and ski destination.
Having a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management he arrived in Sydney well prepared for his two year BMIHMS Master degree course. Jumping straight in to student life he has already served as the SRC’s Social Director and is therefore well prepared to take on the challenges of the SRC (Sydney) leadership. With the four school terms per year separated into twelve week blocks, Bernardo knows that it will be challenging to succeed within such a limited time. He is however highly ambitious (:
“The new SRC has great plans for next Term. With a great team composed by members from all over the globe, we are ready to go down as the best SRC the Sydney Campus has ever seen”.
“We want to make sure that each and every student has the time of their life while they are here in Sydney and that the memories created here will stay with them forever. Our goal is to reach every student and engage them in all the activities, parties, lunches and events we promote. In order to do so, we will empower our communications skills by upgrading the Facebook and Twitter pages and also create a new SRC Instagram page. We have plans for a ‘rewards programme’ for the students that attend our events”. We will particularly focus on the different nationalities and integrating them into school social activities.
This term’s SRC will also focus on creating more social activities in order to promote student’s socialisation between courses and classes, and developing the cultural lunches to make them more appealing and interesting.”
