In line with its continued expansion plan, Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) has just announced the launch of new graduate programs– the Graduate Certificate* and Master of International Hotel Management*. The new programs will be taught at the new BMIHMS campus opened in Sydney’s CBD. The enrolment is open for the first intake in January 2012. Rachel Argaman, CEO Toga Hospitality and Chair of the BMIMHS Industry Board, fully endorsed the programs stating “The Master of International Hotel Management fills a much needed industry management education gap, providing a pathway for people to join the exciting world of hospitality whilst recognising their previous studies and experience from other industries. BMIHMS has been building an outstanding industry track record for producing top industry professionals over the last 20 years and this will be another winner.”

The Master of International Hotel Management is taught over 2 years full time with options for part time study and includes a 6 month paid industry placement giving those looking to change their career the opportunity to enter the fast moving hospitality industry. Current managers with hospitality experience will benefit from credit for some units and Hospitality Bachelor Degree graduates will be able to complete the Masters in a shorter period of time. “Demand for Hotel Managers with superior knowledge is continually increasing as hotel chains continue to grow and expand in the global market. The industry highly values management with industry relevant post graduate qualifications”, said Mr. Guy Bentley CEO of BMIHMS.

2011 has been a milestone year for BMIHMS, Mr. Guy Bentley continued, “in May we celebrated our 20th anniversary, in September we opened our new campus in the heart of Sydney and we are now launching the new Masters program which responds to the needs of the hospitality industry.
